Sure, no AC or TV but thats not what you are there for. The "tents" are quite luxurious in my opinion. This year my mom came and she said it was one of the most awesome experiences.
We live in the bay area and I am a solo mom, so this is a perfect trip for us. My son ( 7 years old) and I have gone two years in a row.
